ABOUT JOE:

 

Joe Eley hails from New York City where he attended and excelled as a basketball star at Erasmas Hall.  There he earned a scholarship to Central State University in Ohio majoring in education.

 

Settling in Cincinnati, OH Joe has been coaching and tutoring young adults in basketball for over 40 years. Byron Larkin Shawn Kemp, Kevin Garnett and Terry Mills have all been mentored and coached by Joe Eley.  Joe has an endless amount of contacts in the professional and college ranks.  

 

Joe has served as head coach at Summit Country Day School and Mariemont High School.  He has worked at Blue Chip, Five Star and Eastern Invitational basketball camps.  He also coached at Syracuse University Camps and Michael Jordan’s camps, including the Michael Jordan Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas.

 

Joe’s positive attitude and sincere dedication to his client’s life long development goes well beyond the court.  Many former clients, now in the business community, credit Joe for the life lessons he taught them through basketball making them the success stories they are today.
